Drunk BMW driver and Opel crash at Nepriklausomybės and Kęstučio streets, Kelmė
On Monday, 6 January 2014, in the morning at 5:01, in Kelmės district municipality, on Nepriklausomybės street, at the junction with Kęstučio street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 and an Opel Vectra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (5 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (1.11‰ blood alcohol).
