On Thursday, 6 March 2014, in the evening at 20:30, in Prienų district municipality, on Kauno highway near No. 6, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 and a Honda Civic. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the BMW (26 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
