Hit-and-run Subaru driver and Audi crash at Laisvės avenue and Viršuliškių street, Vilnius
On Wednesday, 4 February 2015, in the evening at 17:47, in Vilnius, on Laisvės avenue, at the junction with Viršuliškių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Subaru Forester and an Audi A6 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Subaru (30 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was snowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
