On Sunday, 8 February 2015, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kazlų Rūdos municipality, on the Kazlų Rūda–Pažėrai regional road (kilometre 2.50), a Renault Megane Coupe ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Renault (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
