On Thursday, 19 March 2015, in the morning at 5:50, in Kaunas, on Tunelio street near No. 16, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz E 320 CDI and a Neoplan N 122 registered in Latvia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
