On Saturday, 30 May 2015, in the afternoon at 14:05, in Telšių district municipality, Lieplaukės village, on Stoties street near No. 13, a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.06‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
