Drunk Volkswagen driver and Mercedes-Benz crash on the Šiauliai–Palanga road
On Wednesday, 24 June 2015, in the evening at 17:14, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Palanga main road (kilometre 5.70), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Mercedes-Benz ML 350 Bluetec 4MATIC. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (23 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed.
