On Wednesday, 20 January 2016, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Taikos avenue near No. 90, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Zafira and a Mitsubishi Space Wagon. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Opel (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
