On Wednesday, 29 March 2017, at night at around 23:00, in Klaipėda, on Jūrininkų avenue, at the junction with Perkėlos street, a BMW 318 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
