On Tuesday, 18 April 2017, in the morning at 10:05, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 51), a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Schmitz, a Volvo FH 42T, a Krone SDP27, a Renault Premium 420.19, a BMW 650i and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Renault (45 years of driving experience), who was driving fatigued. All drivers were sober.
