Two Opel cars crash in Prūsalių village
On Friday, 31 August 2018, in the morning at 8:04, in Plungės district municipality, Prūsalių village, on Pakalnės street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and an Opel Vectra. Four people were injured — a 0-year-old passenger of the Opel Vectra (hospitalized), a 2-year-old passenger of the Opel Vectra (hospitalized), the 31-year-old driver of the Opel Vectra (hospitalized) and a 6-year-old passenger of the Opel Vectra (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Opel Vectra (less than a year of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
