Drunk driver's Jinlun moped rolls over on the Telšiai–Žarėnai–Tverai–Laukuva road
On Saturday, 13 July 2019, in the morning at 6:43, in Telšių district municipality, on the Telšiai–Žarėnai–Tverai–Laukuva regional road (kilometre 10.52), a Jinlun JL50QT-5 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Jinlun, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.63‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
