On Thursday, 17 October 2019, in the evening at 17:03, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 21), a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Mercedes-Benz 4141 and a Hyundai. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (1 year of driving experience), who violated cargo-transport rules. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
