Pedestrian hit on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Thursday, 19 November 2020, in the evening at 18:30, in Kauno district municipality, Kumpių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 104), a Toyota Corolla hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person died — a 36-year-old pedestrian. The accident was caused by a 36-year-old pedestrian, who was crossing the carriageway where prohibited. Both drivers were sober.
