Unlicensed driver runs off the road in Šinkaviškio village
On Sunday, 8 January 2023, at night at around 2:00, in Kazlų Rūdos municipality, Šinkaviškio village, on the Gudeliai–Smilgiai–Būdviečiai regional road (kilometre 7.92), a car ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of a car, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
