Land Rover driver flees after hitting a pedestrian at Kalvarijų and Pranciškaus Smuglevičiaus streets, Vilnius
On Saturday, 26 August 2023, in the morning at 10:45, in Vilnius, on Kalvarijų street, at the junction with Pranciškaus Smuglevičiaus street, a Land Rover Range Rover Sport hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Land Rover (25 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
