BMW and MAN truck crash on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Tuesday, 19 August 2025, in the evening at 19:30, in Kauno district municipality, Giraitės village, on Automagistralės street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 535, a MAN and a Schmitz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
