On Saturday, 31 August 2013, in the evening at 19:20, in Kaunas, on Savanorių avenue, at the junction with P. Lukšio street, a Suzuki GSX-R 1000 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 26-year-old pedestrian, who failed to obey traffic-control signals. He was drunk (1.86‰ blood alcohol). The driver was sober.
