Mazda driver flees after hitting a child at Žvirblių and Genių streets, Vilnius
On Tuesday, 17 September 2013, in the morning at 8:50, in Vilnius, on Žvirblių street, at the junction with Genių street, a Mazda 5 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 1-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Mazda (20 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
