Two Mercedes-Benz cars crash on the Klaipėda–Kretinga road
On Sunday, 3 November 2013, at night at 1:30, in Klaipėdos city municipality, on the Klaipėda–Kretinga (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) national road (kilometre 7), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz CL600 and a Mercedes-Benz S350. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz CL600 (14 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
