Drunk Volvo FH truck driver hits a parked Scania truck in Trakėnų village
On Sunday, 9 February 2014, in the evening at 18:40, in Kalvarijos municipality, Trakėnų village, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volvo FH 42T, a Scania R 480, a Krone SD and a Scania R420 registered in Latvia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Volvo (18 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.12‰ blood alcohol).
