On Wednesday, 16 April 2014, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Radviliškio district municipality, on Šiaulių street, at the junction with A. Povyliaus street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Xantia and a Toyota Avensis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 78-year-old driver of the Citroen (43 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
