Aprilia SR moped hits a pedestrian at T. Masiulio and Raudonojo Kryžiaus streets, Kaunas
On Sunday, 20 April 2014, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on T. Masiulio street, at the junction with Raudonojo Kryžiaus street, an Aprilia SR 50 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. Two people were injured — a 61-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized) and the 41-year-old driver of the Aprilia (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by a 61-year-old pedestrian. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
