On Wednesday, 17 December 2014, in the afternoon at 14:30, in Klaipėda, on Šilutės highway near No. 35, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Scania R 124 and a Daewoo Nubira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Scania (26 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
