On Saturday, 24 January 2015, in the evening at 22:28, in Panevėžys, on Rožių street, at the junction with Slyvų street, a BMW 525 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.58‰ blood alcohol).
