On Wednesday, 28 January 2015, in the evening at 18:20, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Pumpėnai–Krikliniai–Smilgiai regional road (kilometre 8.20), an Audi 80 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 50-year-old pedestrian, who was walking at night without reflectors (light, hi-vis vest). He was drunk (1.59‰ blood alcohol).
