On Sunday, 1 March 2015, in the morning at 7:30, in Prienų district municipality, Pakuonio town, on Sodų street, at the junction with Aušros street, a Renault Megane Scenic hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.95‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident there was fog, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
