Drunk, hit-and-run Honda driver and BMW crash at Žirmūnų and P. Lukšio streets, Vilnius

On Monday, 2 March 2015, at night at 3:05, in Vilnius, on Žirmūnų street, at the junction with P. Lukšio street, a collision occurred. The collision involved a Honda Civic and a BMW 320D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Honda, who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (1.87‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
