On Sunday, 3 May 2015, in the evening at 21:50, in Panevėžys, on klai, at the junction with Nemuno street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Cadillac Seville and a Neoplan N 4014. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Cadillac, who failed to obey traffic-control signals. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
