On Monday, 11 May 2015, in the afternoon at 14:28, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 57.20), a Volkswagen Sharan rolled over. Two people were injured — a 22-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt) and a 36-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (7 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.58‰ blood alcohol).
