On Saturday, 1 August 2015, in the evening at 20:01, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Kėdainiai–Šėta–Ukmergė national road (kilometre 43), a Volkswagen Passat ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. The driver was sober.
