On Saturday, 25 July 2015, at night at around 3:00, in Biržų district municipality, Germaniškio village, on Nemunėlio street near No. 55, a vehicle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing and left the scene. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 27-year-old pedestrian, who committed traffic rule violations that contributed to the accident. He was drunk (1.17‰ blood alcohol).
