On Thursday, 6 August 2015, in the evening at 22:18, in Vilnius, on Ukmergės street, at the junction with Perkūnkiemio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 407 and a Schmitz Cargobull SKO24/L registered in Latvia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.95‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
