Hit-and-run, unlicensed Volkswagen driver runs off the road in Kauno district
On Saturday, 24 October 2015, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kauno district municipality, on Nuvažiavimas nuo kelio A1, at the junction with link kelio 1919 Ramučiai – Martinava, a Volkswagen Jetta ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
