On Friday, 18 March 2016, at night at around 0:00, in Tauragės district municipality, on Bendrabučio lane near No. 2B, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Seat Alhambra and a Nissan Primera. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Seat, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.71‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
