On Sunday, 9 October 2016, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Varėnos district municipality, Matuizų village, on Dzūkų street near No. 2, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 Avant and an Audi 80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Audi 80 Avant (15 years of driving experience).
