On Friday, 2 December 2016, in the evening at 19:30, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 8.60), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Yaris, a Mercedes-Benz Actros and a Kassbohrer. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Toyota (15 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
