DAF FT truck and two other cars crash on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Sunday, 20 August 2017, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kauno city municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 102), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a DAF FT XF95.480 registered in Russia, a BMW 320D and a Leci Trailer registered in Russia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the DAF (23 years of driving experience). Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
