On Wednesday, 18 October 2017, in the evening at 20:04, in Vilnius, on Bajorų road near No. 4, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Volvo S80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
