Volkswagen and two other vehicles crash on the Anykščiai–Troškūnai–Panevėžys road
On Wednesday, 29 November 2017, in the afternoon at 14:25, in Panevėžio district municipality, Velžio village, on the Anykščiai–Troškūnai–Panevėžys national road (kilometre 51.30), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf, a Volkswagen Golf and a Scania P 124 GB. Two people were injured — the 18-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Golf (hospitalized) and a 18-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen Golf (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Golf (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
