On Sunday, 4 March 2018, in the evening at 21:20, in Vilnius, on Juodasis road, at the junction with Grūdų Sodų street, a Volvo S60 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of a Volvo V40, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. She was drunk and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
