On Friday, 16 March 2018, in the morning at 10:06, in Vilnius, on Kaimelio street near No. 37, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Ford Fiesta and a Saab 9-5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Ford (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
