Hit-and-run Ford driver runs off the road at Šiaurės avenue and Pievų street, Klaipėda

On Monday, 2 April 2018, in the afternoon at 11:17, in Klaipėda, on Šiaurės avenue, at the junction with Pievų street, a Ford Focus ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
