Citroen C3 and Mazda crash on Klaipėdos street, Šilutė
On Thursday, 23 August 2018, in the morning at around 8:00, in Šilutės district municipality, on Klaipėdos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Citroen C3 and a Mazda 3. One person was injured — the 32-year-old driver of the Mazda (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Citroen (3 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
