On Monday, 3 September 2018, at night at 1:20, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on Gegužės square near No. 10, a Ford Mondeo hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
