Volvo S80 and Ford crash on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai road
On Monday, 18 November 2019, in the afternoon at 14:56, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai main road (kilometre 5.20), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Volvo S80 registered in Belarus and a Ford Mondeo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Volvo (26 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
