Drunk, unlicensed Saab 9-3 driver runs off the road in Zasinyčių village
On Wednesday, 4 March 2020, in the morning at 6:42, in Kupiškio district municipality, Zasinyčių village, on the Salamiestis–Alizava–Kupreliškis–Galintiškis regional road (kilometre 6.50), a Saab 9-3 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Saab. He was drunk (0.74‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
