Volvo FH truck rolls over on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Wednesday, 11 March 2020, at night at 0:20, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 65.50), a Volvo FH registered in Belarus rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the Volvo (26 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
