Drunk BMW 530 XD driver hits a parked Audi and flees on Šiaurės avenue, Kaunas
On Thursday, 14 May 2020, in the evening at 22:20, in Kaunas, on Šiaurės avenue near No. 1A, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 530 XD and an Audi registered in Latvia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the BMW (14 years of driving experience). He was drunk (1.83‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
