Mercedes-Benz Actros truck and Nissan crash on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Friday, 29 May 2020, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kauno city municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 101), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz Actros, a Nissan Qashqai and a Schmitz Cargobull. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (30 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
